Pictures of Ireland
I’ll admit – I visit a country/destination based on photos I’ve seen whether it’s through Instagram, Pinterest or Google. If it doesn’t have great photos to entice me, chances are I won’t add it to my bucket list. While I realize that not everyone is like me and there are places that are 100% worth a visit even though they may not have the best photo ops, I know a lot of people are exactly like me. So hopefully these pictures of Ireland will convince those of you who are still on the fence about visiting this beautiful country that you must book your flights ASAP. Also, please note that not every photo included below is mine and that’s because as mentioned in my Ireland Road Trip post, we really needed at least 7 more days to fully tour it. Note that we didn’t even touch on Northern Ireland which is an entirely separate 7 days in itself. I did, however, include a few of the best photo opps in Northern Ireland because it’s just as gorgeous and should be seriously considered when planning a trip to Ireland. As you look through these photos of Ireland, you’ll notice that it’s a naturally photogenic country. But it’s moody. I love that about it – yes, you can find a lot of color but there are also a lot of greens, dark browns and just overall moody tones.
p.s. Next time I’m definitely adding Northern Ireland to my bucket list. I’d love to see The Dark Hedges and Ballinastoe They look absolutely stunning and definitely worth shooting. On top of that, Belfast has some pretty rockin’ places to eat!

First off I had no idea how colorful Ireland was. I always expected it to be more dull but your photos have proven otherwise! I need to plan a trip. My boyfriend really wants to go. 🙂
