St Thomas VI Travel – Day 1 & 2

I know it seems like I’ve disappeared but I’m finally back! A lot of you have mentioned how excited you were to be seeing pictures and I am not going to disappoint 🙂 As always, I took too many and so after a much-needed and thorough review of the pictures, I have picked out a few from the first and second days.
St Thomas is part of the US Virgin Islands. It’s a pretty island that’s small and known for it’s crystal clear blue waters. The snorkeling there was amazing, par to none (in the US).
Lots of boats everywhere
Cute little alleyway – downtown
Bright colors
Day 2 – Secret Harbour Beach
*Amazing little beach – definitely go if you have a chance!
Yes, it was a bit downcast.
Since the beginning of the trip was a bit downcast, it uncharacteristically rained quite a bit. I was so cold (after a short snorkel), we decided to hit the bar for a cup of coffee.
Totally ironic and kind of pitiful.
I love this straw cap. However, do NOT get it wet. I thought it was a beach/water-friendly hat and took it with me but it lost some color from getting wet. So if you decide to buy it here, don’t take it anywhere where you might soak it.
