Snow Day

I didn’t intend this as a snow day outfit. Snow just happened and I (for once) happened to be dressed for it.

snow day winter outfit: thick winter coat, olive denim, striped top and a pair of suede boots

I wore this to church yesterday and while we were out afterwards grabbing a quick bite, this glorious (I use the term glorious because, wait for it……the snow was actually pretty) scene happened. It was fun shooting amidst all the tiny speckles of natural white paint that thankfully, never laid anywhere. But it made for such great photos that I was happy it happened. Plus the temperature was mild and pleasant – the best of both worlds. I bought this Vince Camuto coat to fill a void in my closet for a thick black winter coat. I have a light black one and my infamous black cape but nothing that’s fit for a frigid day. I recommend this coat if you’re looking for something to carry you through winter days – it’s comfortable, fits excellently and it’s warm.

  1. Thats the best of both worlds, light snowfall but still mild temperatures! I wish winter was like that all the time. I love your coat, it’s a great cut and fit on you. And of course those boots are fab!
