Pear Pistachio Cherry Salad with Orange Cinnamon Dressing

Pears. Pistachios. Dried Cherries. Feta. All in one salad today.
I am obsessed with fruit salads like this – growing up, my mom either made Syrian style salads (tabbouleh, cucumber-tomato mint, etc etc) or fruit-based salads like this (she was the one who inspired my Mango-Strawberry Avocado Salad).
Fruit-based salads are actually my favorite type of salads and are so much fun to make. They are easy to throw together and can easily be tweaked if you don’t have the exact ingredients on hand (apples for pears, blue cheese for feta, almonds for pistachios…).
I’m also loving today’s dressing – my go-to dressing is usually a balsamic-garlic dressing but I decided to mix it up with a bit of orange-flavored vinegar from Trader Joes. And I added cinnamon in celebration of all that is fall. Happy Thursday and thanks for reading!
