Painted Shirtdress
I’m wearing a piece of art today.
I love it when a designer creates a piece that looks like a painted canvas or a work of art and this painted shirtdress is just that. I was first introduced to A. Moss when I attended a press preview in NYC last year. I don’t instantly fall in love with a brand very often but I oohed and ahhed as soon as I saw their designs, with mouth agape, probably drooling in quite the unladylike manner. This is one brand where I can honestly say “this is me” and IMO each one of their pieces are a work of art. Not the I-admire-that-but-I’d-never-wear-it kind because trust me, we’ve all seen our fair share of those. But rather, the type that’s eye-catching and unique, one that you add to your wishlist and dream about (i.e. this dress and this jacket). I only wish I had the brains and creativity to design gorgeous pieces like this myself!
p.s. I know I only have one photo of the sleeves (I was way too much of a wimp to shoot without my coat) but you can see the fine mesh detailing if you look.

That dress really is a pretty piece of art! Love this whole outfit, and the pictures came out beautifully!
