We are road tripping today. Purely for business. It’s pretty boring stuff, actually. A has us leaving at 7. That’s AM, my friends. And if you know anything about me, you know that I despise waking up early in the morning. I like to start my day at 7, not a minute before, preferably many minutes after….
Ever have leftovers that aren’t enough for dinner but you feel bad throwing away? Yes. This recipe takes care of that problem if your leftovers involve rice and cooked vegetables. I had a random bowl of rice and an equally random dish of sautéed zucchini a few weeks ago. Since my waste-hating self refuses to…
Because A doesn’t like sweet peanut butter, I have to time any peanut butter dessert making to when we have visitors. Or else face having to finish a whole dessert by myself. So when we had friends visiting us the weekend of the 4th, I jumped on the chance to make this peanut butter pie…
I didn’t used to be a big fan of lemon flavoring but over the past few years, my appreciation for it has significantly increased. I LOVE it in fish, vegetables, desserts and these biscotti. This recipe is incredibly easy and if you’ve never made biscotti before, it’s a great intro into the biscotti world. We…
We are huge water drinkers. We always have a water bottle or several mugs of water within reach so we can stay hydrated all day long. It’s too easy to forget and go through an entire day having had only a sip or two of water. During winter, we drink hot tea nonstop and during…

Can this recipe be made with Silk brand unsweetened coconut milk?
Yep! I don’t see why not. I’ve made it with canned coconut milk before and it works well 🙂
