Color Craze | Lavender + Burgundy
I used to hate red; it usually came close to purple and pink on my lists of most hated colors. (Remember I was the weird girl who loved gray and black) P.S. I now recognize that the reason I hated purple was because grape purple was the shade of choice when you’re growing up. And while I loved eating anything grape flavored (skittles anyone?), wearing it was a different story entirely. I have no excuse for my anti-pink phase however.
The matured and modern day of myself now loves red, pink, and purple for that matter. I find myself gravitating towards bright reds and these pointy-toe chic boots. This is the third pair of Charles David shoes I own and I think I can say that the brand has become a favorite. For high heeled stilettos, the booties do a pretty good job of maintaining some semblance of comfort in my toes. Obvs I can’t wear any heels for too long but I can sport these confidently for a few hours. These boots are a different story entirely, with a wedge that provides the utmost comfort.

Those boots are CUTE! If they were candy apple red .. meh. But they are a nice burgundy .. and I love the skinny heel!

You are so right about grape purple being the only choice! There really need to be more shades of purple offered in fashion, especially in the shade you’re wearing! I think this color looks gorgeous on you, and I love that you can wear it as a neutral.
Honestly purple is not my fave basically because of what you said. It’s like you have one color of purple to purchase and it’s just so awful!
