Australian Boots Yellow Puffer Jacket

Fall has finally made its way to PA in full force – some trees have already lost their leaves and others are displaying full fall foliage. I just bought this yellow jacket because well, yellow. What’s odd is that 5 years ago I would have balked at the idea of wearing a bright yellow coat. Now I can’t get enough. I’m even looking for a yellow skirt to add to my closet.
I had never heard of Blunstone until just a few weeks ago when I spotted them on the Zappos website. This Australian brand specializes in rugged boots fit for everyday purposes. They are super comfortable, waterproof and they have a tab feature that allows for easy on/off. I bought two pairs: one for myself and one for A and we’ve both started wearing them everywhere. They’re great for staying warm and for gloomy rainy days but they’re just as good on a mild, sunny day. I love pairing them with denim and a puffer jacket for a super casual look but they are versatile enough to pair with a slightly less casual and more city chic look. Blundstone has several color options to choose from – we chose black as that goes with everything. However, Zappos also offers various shades of brown as well for those who prefer earthy tones.
