EASY NO-BAKE NUTELLA & FRUIT DESSERT TACOS

So I’m usually one for making everything from scrap but somedays, a woman/man needs a break. In this easy dessert recipe, Nutella, whipped cream, and taco shells come to the rescue. Yes, my friends, taco shells. Remember how I said I hated the bacon/sugar combo? Well, if you thought it was because I detest sweet and salty together, think again. Growing up we would eat pretzels with ice cream and now, I find myself obsessing over salted caramel anything. My Starbucks salted caramel mocha latte is currently hitting the spot. Enter the taco shell in dessert form. It gives the perfect amount of salty contrast to the sweetness of the Nutella and pudding. Amazing.

This is a great recipe for those that want to throw a fun dessert together last minute. The ingredients are basic and take just a few minutes to throw together. Really, cutting the fruit takes the most time. And the result is not only tasty but truly unique looking.

And last but not least, Happy Taco Day!

NUTELLA AND FRUIT DESSERT TACOS

Taco shells
Nutella
Strawberries
Kiwi
Red Grapes
Vanilla pudding (I used one 3.4oz box mixed with 1 3/4 c milk for about 3 tacos)
Whipped Cream

Powdered sugar, optional

Place your desired amount of Nutella in a pot and heat using the double broiler method (or a microwave). Once melted, dip the edges of the taco shells in the Nutella and freeze for about 15 minutes. Remove from freezer.

Fill each shell with pudding. Top with fruit. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Top with whipped cream and dust with powdered sugar.
