Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

I can honestly say this is the easiest recipe I own. Not only does it require a minuscule amount of ingredients but it is incredibly simple to put together.
And I do it all in the same baking dish.

Honey Mustard Chicken Recipe

This recipe was my sister’s favorite growing up. Now it’s the hubs’. If it were up to him, we’d be eating this every day for a week straight. Maybe more. He just doesn’t seem to tire of it.

And who would? Sweet but spicy and mustardy tender chicken served with steamed rice.

Basic ingredients: Dijon mustard, Cumin, Curry, Brown sugar, and chicken.


Honey Mustard Chicken Recipe


1 pound chicken breasts, cut into cubes
4 T butter, melted
2/3 c brown sugar (or honey)
4 T dijon mustard (or plain)
2 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
Dash of salt (if using salted butter – 1 tsp if using sweet butter)
Preheat oven to 350F. Mix all ingredients together in a baking dish and bake for 40 minutes (or until chicken is cooked).
Serve with rice. Garnish with basil (optional).
