Fresh Salsa is one of my favorite foods. It’s basically salad without the dressing so it’s super healthy and full of vitamins. The only guilt is in eating the tortilla chips  but who’s counting those? Another favorite food, mangos. And avocados. I could probably live off of those two and I wouldn’t complain.   So what does one do with two favorite foods?

Combine them. Into a fresh and summery salsa. Be sure to select avocado that isn’t too ripe, unless you’re going for a guaca-mango type salsa. Same flavors, ultra-different look.

This is the perfect salsa for a picnic, BBQ, you name it. It’s easy to make and takes mere minutes to throw together.

MANGO AND AVOCADO SALSA RECIPE & INGREDIENTS

INGREDIENTS
3 plum tomatoes, diced
1 green pepper, diced (optional)
large bunch of cilantro (about 1/2 cup minced)
Juice from one lime
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 mango, diced
1 avocado, diced
1/4 – 1/2 tsp salt

DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and serve with chips.
