I never used to be much of a chai fan until A started drinking it frequently during winter. He adds milk and sugar and it turns into a decadent drink to sip on while it’s cold outside. This summer we were at our favorite local cafe when we noticed that chai milkshakes were on the menu. My curiosity was piqued and so we came home that evening and I whipped up my first attempt which was met with “mmm” and “so good.” Admittedly, it was pretty successful. I’ve made it a few times since with one botched attempt (too much spice) and finally perfected it into today’s recipe.
