The Weekender
This outfit is one of my favorite all-time casual outfits. In fact, it was my go-to during last weekend’s trip to NJ. It’s comfortable, cute and it does a nice job of transitioning between a hot and cool day. And as an added bonus, most of it is on clearance now.
In other news, I shrunk our shower curtain yesterday. It had water stains that were driving me crazy so I washed and dried it per the laundry care label. This is one instance where following directions is not a good idea. I had to lower the curtain rod to accommodate for the 4 inch loss at the bottom. Please tell me I’m not the only one who has done this.
If you’re following along on Snapchat (@fashionedible), you may have noticed a snap of a bike ride I took yesterday. I thought it’d be fun to surprise A at work and since it was only a 7 mile ride, I figured it wouldn’t take me long at all. Fail. The ride may have been 7 miles but there were about 189734 hills, all at perpendicular angles to my bike. I realized this about halfway through the ride – apparently, the toughest parts are at the end. Shamefully, I pulled over twice during the ride, both times wheezing my way through, trying to catch my breath, trying not to look too exhausted. It was futile. The last break lasted 3 painstaking minutes. I finally made it to the office and crashed on the floor.
Bike riding is a great activity to get into. It’s gorgeous this time of year and it helps keep you in shape. Let’s face it – we’ve never seen a cyclist that doesn’t look in tip-top shape. Apparently, they’ve got a great set of lungs as well.
How about you? Do you love biking?

I saw your SC and it totally made me miss bike riding! Ok, maybe not the bike-riding-on-hills π I’m too scared to even attempt riding in the city! I know…I’m a baby. Maybe someday…
I don’t blame you – I think I might be scared too. But I’ve seen so many people do it that I’m sure you would get used to it!
That’s awesome. I feel like yesterday might have been the day for great efforts without the best endings! I need to look into those long, thin earrings. Since I don’t really do anything besides my studs, these might be a good option for me! π
They’re a lot of fun – I think you’d like them.
Now that’s a bike ride! Did you bike back home?
Cute top! Its looks super comfy and those earrings are really pretty. I don’t wear earrings a lot as they tend to irritate my ears but those look so inviting. Might have to give them a try π

No! I’m not sure I could have if I wanted to. Next time I will bring along some food to help me regain some energy. I was drained haha.
Had a good chuckle over your bike ride and collapse on the floor .. lol. I just started Cross Fit and feel much the same way after every work out π

Wow! You go! I hear it’s insane – hopefully you love it!
You’re a trooper! I could not bike that far, especially with all those hills.
Love this easy + breezy outfit; you look gorgeous, Grace!
