I don’t just follow travel instagram accounts but they do seem to take up the majority of my Instagram feed. I find travel accounts to be not only inspirational but a pick-me-up on down days. I love admiring the work and creativity of other people and so I thought I would put together a collection of the best travel instagram accounts. Obviously, this list is nowhere near the number of actual amazing instagram accounts out there because there are hundreds but it does give you a few of my favorites, ones that I’ve come across and been impressed with or ones that have inspired me. I divided out the article into three sections because the travel genre is so vast that it really needs its own subdivisions. I can’t say that I prefer one section more than the other because I love all forms of travel photography but I’m always interested to see what other people prefer.

Best Travel Instagram Accounts

Landscape Travel

While my feed is rarely ever landscape related (the closest I got was when we visited Utah), I do love this type of photography and find it awe-inspiring. There are so many national parks and natural wonders out there that following these types of travel accounts reminds me to explore beyond the city and into nature.

Renee Roaming – If you’re seeking inspiration in nature, wildlife or just want to browse through an extremely creative account, then check out Renee’s Instagram feed. Her photos are truly an inspiration and her editing work is fantastic.

Matthew Hahnel – Matthew is actually Renee’s husband and I’m always impressed by how creative the duo is. His feed is just as inspiring and full of beautiful national parks and hikes that should be added to your bucket list.

Hello Emilie – Another gorgeous travel Instagram account to follow, Emilie’s feed is moody and unique. I love how she mixes in a splash of lifestyle here and there.

Daniel Ernst – Daniel’s feed is epic, full of adventure, wanderlust and moody vibes.

Frauke Hagen – I just discovered Frauke Hagen’s feed recently and I love it. She has so many beautiful dark and dreamy photos that it makes me want to book a camping trip ASAP…and I’m not even into camping.

City Travel

I love following accounts that cover various aspects of a city, especially architecture and street scenes. They transport you to different time and place and teach you about small towns as well as well-known cities.

Loic LaGarde – If you’re looking for a cheery feed, then head over to Loic’s travel account. I am obsessed with the colors, vivid imagery and charming scenes.

Mary Quincy – I love Mary’s account because she mixes in a few landscapes among many city shots. I could scroll through her photos all day long.

Postcards by Hannah – If you’re looking for quintessential Britain, Hannah’s account will have you dreaming of castles and magical houses.

Lifestyle Travel

Lifestyle accounts with a focus on travel are some of my best Instagram travel accounts to follow because they are a mix of food, fashion and dreamy scenes. All of my favorite things. There are so many gals that do this genre well that it’s hard to just pick a few but here are a handful, each with their own unique touch.

Irinahp – Irina’s account is full of vibrant reds and oranges. I love how she incorporates some fashion and lots of pretty backdrops into her photos.

Hilvees – I love that Hildegunn travels all over the world: Africa, New Zealand, Asia, Europe. It’s an all-encompassing feed and her photos are so beautiful.

Haylsa – This one is for the beach lovers. So many great photos from around the world like this one from Santorini but a heavy emphasis on beach overall!

Take Off With Love – Vanesa does a great job with feed cohesion. I absolutely love her edits and her outfit choices.
