Fall Layers: Cape, Scarf + OTK Boots
I’m sitting here listing to the Lindsey Sterling radio station (Pandora) and I feel like I can work for hours. If you guys love more modern classical music, you have to check her out. It’s peppy, melodic and seriously helps me work. Not only do you get amazing Lindsey Sterling music but also similar music from SkyRim, Lord of the Rings, and Celtic music.

Anyways, I am loving this season’s fall layers. Really, I say that every year but it’s still true. If you can get your hands on a good pair of OTK boots, I highly recommend it. I can’t say enough good things about these boots by Charles David. Of course, if you like to splurge on your boots, Stuart Weitzman makes a great similar pair. Either way, OTK boots are extremely versatile – I’ve worn them frequently with jeans and when the weather is nice, with a dress or skirt. Add a bunch of top layers and the little bit of exposed skin won’t really bother you. Also, it wasn’t until after I bought this scarf that I realized how popular this reversible pattern is. Crazy how that happens sometimes.
Banana Republic dress, sold out (similar)
TJ Maxx reversible scarf (similar, similar)
Via Spiga cape (this season similar)
Charles David boots (also in navy & burgundy)
Rebecca Minkoff bag
I’m obsessed with this whole look. I’m not sure I could pull it off, but it’s so classic and beautiful!
I think you can definitely pull it off!
That’s a bummer! Hopefully, you’ll be able to come across a pair soon – they’re the best!
