Dear fellow avocado-teurs – this recipe is for you. A dip laden with avocado, garlic and yogurt, blended together and served with chips.

It’s definitely dip season so if you’re not into avocado, try the Garlic-Chive Yogurt Dip I made a few weeks ago. Zero avocado but plenty of flavor!

AVOCADO YOGURT TZATZIKI DIP
8 oz Greek yogurt
1 1/4 T olive oil
1/2 tsp red wine vinegar (or sherry vinegar)
1/4 tsp honey
2 tsp dried dill weed
2 garlic cloves (more or less depending on how strong you like garlic flavor)
1 English cucumber, shredded/grated
1 Avocado, mashed
Salt & Pepper to taste
Mix yogurt, oil, vinegar, honey, dill weed, and garlic together in a bowl. Squeeze out excess water from cucumber shreds. Add cucumber to bowl. Add in avocado and salt and pepper. Mix well.
Serve with chips.
